For removing areas of stubborn body fat, liposuction is one of the safest techniques available. While traditional liposuction still requires minor surgery, at Breeze Laser Center we offer a more advanced alternative – liposuction using laser technology.
Serving the Orlando area in Central Florida, Breeze Laser Center has been on the forefront of laser technology and techniques since 2003. Contact us today to schedule a consultation and find out if Laser Lipo is right for you.
What is Laser Lipo?
Laser Lipo first emerged as a treatment for sports injuries and is now being utilized as an aesthetic procedure for fat reduction due to its gentle healing properties. Where hot lasers are used in skin rejuvenation treatments, Laser Lipo uses cold, low-level laser technology that only penetrates the skin to a maximum depth of 13 millimeters.
As the laser is moved over treated areas, it disrupts the membranes of fat cells and causes them to break down. The fat cells themselves are not removed, but the contents within the cells that create their shape – water, sugar and free fatty acids – are released. These are then cycled through the body’s metabolic processes and used as energy.
The reaction created by Laser Lipo is done naturally within the body when it utilizes stored energy reserves, making it a safe and effective process that will not disturb natural function. The result is tighter skin, loss of inches in the waistline, skin rejuvenation and cellulite reduction.
What Areas Can Be Treated?
Laser Lipo can effectively reduce fat in several areas of the body such as the stomach, love handles, arms, bra line, thighs and buttocks.
Does Laser Lipo Hurt?
This non-invasive treatment uses gentle laser technology that typically causes no pain. Patients generally report a soothing warming sensation as the laser is passed over the skin. Laser Lipo targets fat cells without causing damage or irritation to the surrounding nerves, blood vessels or skin, eliminating the risk of pain or discomfort during or after treatment.
Are There Any Side Effects?
The swelling and bruising that is typical of other cosmetic treatments does not occur after Laser Lipo. As the fat reduction and skin tightening technology mimics the body’s natural processes, no downtime or recovery period is required.
How Long Will My Results Last?
Although one Laser Lipo treatment often creates real, visible results, multiple sessions may be required to achieve your cosmetic goals. At least two treatments per week for four weeks is recommended. In order to maintain results, body weight should be kept stable with proper diet and exercise.
The course of treatment that is right for you will be discussed during your consultation.
