As we age, exposure to the sun as well as the loss of soft tissue makes the lips thinner and can cause fine lines to form around the mouth.
Breeze Laser Center is proud to announce that we now carry Juvederm Volbella®, a dermal filler that has the potential to address these issues quickly, comfortably, and with minimal downtime.
If you’ve been bothered by loss of lip fullness and the appearance of wrinkles and fines lines around the mouth, contact us at our office—located in Orlando, Florida—and find out if Juvederm Volbella® could bring back plushness to your lips and smoothness to your skin.
What is Volbella®? What Should I Expect From the Treatment?
Volbella® is a made of a unique solution of Hyaluronic Acid, a moisturizing sugar already present in the body. The treatment is administered through a series of injections to the lower mouth. A mild numbing agent may be applied to add more comfortability to the injections. The excess of Hyaluronic Acid that is left in the body should be broken down in the course of three days.
In most cases, this treatment will require minimal downtime and after its completion, patients should be able to return home. It is recommended that patients avoid alcoholic beverages, strenuous exercise, and excessive exposure to the sun for 24 hours following the procedure. This is to make sure that the treatment works as efficiently as possible.
What makes Volbella® Special?
The solution used for Volbella® has been designed to minimize the use of Hyaluronic Acid. This is meant to give a plumpness to the lips that doesn’t seem exaggerated. Using less Hyaluronic Acid doesn’t detract from the efficiency of the treatment, as the rejuvenating effects of Volbella® can be visible for up to a year. Since no incision into the skin is required for this treatment, Volbella® is available to those men and women who cannot undergo surgery.
Am I A Candidate for This Treatment?
Juvederm Volbella® is not meant for patients under the age of 22, but adults over that age in need of a solution for thin lips will likely be qualified. However, a consultation with one of our practitioners is required before the treatment in order to answer this question for sure. With the practitioner, you will discuss your medical history as well as your goals for the treatment. If the practitioner finds anything that could disrupt the procedure, they’ll discuss potential alternatives.
Contact our office today and discover if Volbella® could work for you. We look forward to answering whatever questions you may have about the product and to helping you achieve your aesthetic goals.
